You Can Help

As a nonprofit, Children’s Home Society relies on your generosity. We can’t thank you enough for everything you have done to help us as we continue our mission of finding permanent homes for all children and providing related services to birth families, adoptive families and adoptees.

Most nonprofits faced challenging times in 2008, and CHS was no exception. But even though the economy struggled, your generosity remained strong. Now, more than ever, is when we need your continued assistance.

Looking for a way to help? Consider:

1. Sponsor a breakfast or lunch to introduce community leaders to the agency.
2. Donate goods/services for an event (printing, catering, audio-visual production, etc.)
3. Invite the CHS President to speak at a group function or during an office lunch.
4. Publicize children needing adoptive families on an office/church bulletin board.
5. Make a financial contribution. You can donate online by clicking here.
6. Donate needed items (diapers, wipes, baby wash, pacifiers, baby laundry detergent) for our foster parents closet. To see a full list of needed items, click here.
7. Consider becoming a foster parent to provide temporary care to a newborn or infant. Learn about foster parent requirements.
8. Donate money, prizes, food or supplies for the Annual Family Picnic in May.
9. Ask your employer to donate ‘casual dress Friday’ proceeds to CHS.
10. Create a personal way for YOU to make a difference.
