Scott and Stacy

Hi!

We are Scott and Stacy.  We thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us.  We pray that you find comfort and strength as you make this courageous and selfless decision. 

We have been married for five wonderful years.  We met in college and quickly became inseparable.  Our four years of dating resulted in a solid foundation of love, honesty, and trust.  We became best friends during this time and our friendship and love continues to grow with our marriage.  Shortly after our marriage, we knew we were ready for children.  After unsuccessfully trying to conceive for several years, we looked to doctors for answers.  Our doctors told us that infertility treatments were not an option for us and we would not be able to conceive a child.  It was a difficult time for us, but one that strengthened our marriage.  Now, we are excited to become first time parents and look forward to growing our family through adoption.

We have a home in a wonderful neighborhood.  It seems there is always someone out taking a walk, riding bikes, walking a dog, playing catch, or just sitting on the porch.  We enjoy getting to know our neighbors when we are out in the neighborhood. We are close to great schools, parks, libraries, museums, theaters, the beach, mountains, and anything else you could imagine.  We enjoy taking advantage of all that our area has to offer. Our dog, Buttons, also loves to visit the parks and walk around the neighborhood too. 

Stacy is an elementary school teacher and loves to be in the classroom.  She enjoys watching students learn and grow to be individuals. She is excited about sharing the experiences of making snow angels and sipping hot cocoa on snow days and splashing in the pool during the summer months!

Scott is an operations manager for a local business.  His company is a family friendly one, which encourages family to be the number one priority of its employees.  He works so close to home that he often comes home for lunch.  He looks forward to spending family vacations walking on the beach looking for seashells and playing in the ocean.

Family and friends are very important to us. We have strong ties to both of our families.  Both of our parents live nearby and are excited to become grandparents.  We see our family often and cherish the time we spend with them.  We love to celebrate the traditions of our families and look forward to making new traditions of our own.  In the six years we have lived here, we have developed a strong group of friends in the area.  We often spend time having picnics and barbecues with them.  We attend church regularly and have an amazing church family as well. 

We look forward to all the excitement a child can bring. We plan to share the values of respect, kindness and love with a child. We also plan to be honest and open with a child when sharing his or her adoption story. We respect the choice that you are making and we pray that you find guidance as you search for a match that is right for you and your baby.
