Melissa and Tony
Dear Birth Mother,
First of all we would like to thank you for taking the time to learn more about our loving family and the deep desire we both have to become parents through adoption. We graciously respect the courageous decision that you are making and are eager to know more about you, if you so desire. We are a very loving and well-established family. We have two wonderful loving dogs, precious and Max, who love to be around children.
We are best friends and are dedicated to each other. We have been together for 14 years and married for 6 years. We both come from very supportive and loving families that support adoption. We love having many nieces and nephews, who are all ready to welcome the newest member of our family.
Our journey with infertility has been a long, tiresome, and emotional journey. After 3 years of going through the infertility process, we suffered a miscarriage and were not able to conceive a child of our own. The doctors were not able to find any reason for our infertility. After Melissa continued to have medical problems, the doctors recommended she have a partial hysterectomy. At which time they encouraged us to start a family through adoption. We are mentally and physically prepared to become parents through adoption and to help our baby grow into a happy, loving, strong individual.
Tony work for the local country government as a Water Operator and Melissa work for a childhood friend at her Daycare Center as an Infant Room teacher. We are both off work for holidays and weekends. We graciously look forward to spending as much time as possible with our new baby, family and friends. We would also like to let you know that the baby would be with Melissa everyday in the infant room at the daycare center.
We would like to let you know that we live in a wonderful community with the beach only minutes away. We both grew up going to amusement parks, museums, the local fair, and on many family vacations. Melissa grew up on the family farm, which gave her the opportunity to be able to be involved in her local 4-H club, and we hope to continue this tradition with our child. Melissa thoroughly enjoys doing arts and crafts, puzzles, playing games, and baking goodies. Tony enjoys many things like going to car shows, movies, making things, and playing video games. We both enjoy listening to music, taking walks on the beach and spending time with out loving nieces and nephews. We enjoy family vacations, exploring Luray Caverns, and going places like Sesame Place.
We will always provide our child with a warm and loving Christian home that comes complete with two dedicated parents and their two dogs. Parenting to us means helping a child grown into a healthy, happy, confident, well-educated adult, who can discover his or her passions and talents and be able to pursue them without complications. We envision our family life to be filled with exploration, learning, play, laughter and unconditional love and support.
We would like to say thank you for considering adoption with us, and allowing us the opportunity to complete our family. Adoption is a blessing for the couples who are not able to conceive a baby on their own. We would help your baby understand what adoption is all about by reading adoption stories, attending adoption events and being able to share as much information about you the birth mother and family that you will allow us too. Our adoption will be discussed openly with our child.
