Events at CHSVA: Wendy's Golf Tournament

Despite a very hot day, the 13th annual Wendys Colonial Golf Classic at Lake Chesdin Golf Club was lots of fun! Over 120 people participated and the Wendys crew, as usual, made sure that everyone had a good time. The Deal or No Deal game at hole number 15 added a little twist to the game by allowing players to buy chances to putt from a closer tee, depending on the best card they picked out of six. Many teams were able to tee off from as close as 50 yards to the green!

All proceeds from this event help to support the Wendys Wonderful Kids program at CHS which combines the fundraising power of Wendy's and the talent of an experienced adoption recruiter at CHS to move children from foster care into permanent, loving adoptive homes.
