Dear Birthmother
Our names are Glen, Candy and Ora and we want to thank you for reading about our family. We can only imagine the feelings and emotions you may be going through right now as you read this letter to pick out a family for your precious child. Please know that we believe you are a very courageous person for considering an adoption plan. We hope you enjoy learning more about our family.
We are an interracial couple as you can see from our picture. We are open to a child of either gender or race. We live in the country. We love children and doing activities revolving around children. We have a 3 bedroom home with a big yard to play in with a swing set, sand box. We are close by to parks, schools, library and the hospital.
Ora is our daughter. We brought her home in 2006 when she was just a few months old. Ora is smart, beautiful, playful and has a smile that will melt your heart. She enjoys playing with other children, coloring, swimming and running around the house. She loves her baby doll Ty’Nasia. She is currently playing with children at church and within the family. She loves to dance and will soon be going to a 3 day pre-school.
Glen: works as a construction worker Monday through Friday. When Ora was an infant I worked part time because we didn’t want Ora to go to a day care. In which we will be doing for our other children as well. I come from a very large family and have 8 other brothers and sisters. All of my family live near .We all enjoy family get togethers and singing with the church choir. I enjoy spending time with Ora and Candy. We spend a lot of time outside. When the weather allows it we play outside and our favorite thing is bubbles right now, we have a lot of bubbles and different wands to make the bubbles.
I also like to play basketball, video games, swimming, traveling and our family vacations at the Beach.
Candy: works with children and families on a daily basis through a foster care agency. I have worked there since graduating from college. I have a very flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for me to be at home. I come from a small family who lives within 30 minutes of us. I Love to cook for my family and we enjoy eating out as well. I love to get in the floor and play with Ora and playing outside. We also like to look through her clothes and we love to do fashion shows and dress up. I spend time to myself sometimes scrap booking, reading and doing photography.
We would very much like to have another child in our family and give Ora a sibling, weather it be a boy or a girl. We love to travel to places and visit museums and parks. We are also involved in church and are currently seeking a new church that has more children’s activities. We are excited and eager to parent again. Please know that we will not only love this child unconditionally but also do our best to raise this child to be self-confident and a productive member of society.
