Raise The Roof! 2009
Children’s Home Society of Virginia raised more than $38,000 at its fourth annual fundraiser, “Raise the Roof,” on Nov. 7, 2009 at Rolling Run Farm in Goochland County.
Many of the more than 220 guests enjoyed the spring-like weather while listening to the bluegrass band Jackass Flats. Some visited with horses, while a few brave souls rode a mechanical bull. The menu featured barbeque and roasted oysters.
“What a fun way to raise awareness and expand our base of support with people from all over the region,” said Nadine Marsh-Carter, president and CEO of Children’s Home Society.
We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you everyone, for making “Raise the Roof 2009” a huge success!!
